What do you suppose is the most loved flavor combination of all time?  Apples and cinnamon?  Pumpkin and maple?  Chocolate and hazelnut?  I’m going to go with chocolate and peanut butter.

So many people are obsessed with peanut butter cups, chocolate peanut butter brownies and cookies, not to mention cakes, tarts and tortes!!!!  I will say, it is probably my favorite combo.  Especially when the peanut butter is prominent enough that you can taste the subtle saltiness.  Oooh, my knees are getting weak just writing about it!

When I came upon Dorie Greenspan’s World Peace Cookies, I could hardly wait to try them and add some peanut butter goodness.

The original version of this cookie would be good enough on it’s own:  a dense chocolate cookie with chunks of bittersweet chocolate and sea salt sprinkled in.  But naturally, I had to push the envelope and make this delectable treat even more indulgent.  I blame the Halloween candy aisle….

I am one of those who are obsessed with peanut butter in general, not just pb cups! These sound amazing with the sea salt too.

I am addicted to just plain-old peanut butter also! I have to eat it in some form almost everyday!
